Anthony Brown Founder of Apex Lubrication – Anthony Brown is part of the team that has been instrumental in transforming conveyor chain maintenance at Mighty Lube and OPCO. With over 20 years of experience in the lubrication industry, his relentless pursuit of efficiency and innovation has led to groundbreaking advancements in operational processes.
Vision and Leadership
Anthony’s journey began with a passion for engineering, inspired by his father’s legacy at Mighty Lube. His vision to elevate data utilization within the industry was sparked by years of collaboration with automotive factories. He recognized the untapped potential in leveraging Mighty Lube systems across multiple plant levels, aiming to revolutionize maintenance practices.
Collaboration with Industry Experts
In partnership with David LeMauns, a senior engineer at Nissan Manufacturing plant for 20 years, Anthony sought to automate routine maintenance tasks. David frequently expressed his desire for a system that could autonomously handle these responsibilities. Following David’s retirement, the two collaborated to establish OmniView, a cutting-edge platform designed to redefine conveyor chain maintenance.
The Birth of OmniView
Combining David’s extensive automotive experience with Anthony’s deep knowledge of Mighty Lube, the OmniView concept was born. They enlisted Matt Knysz, a PhD graduate from the University of Michigan. Matt’s expertise in software engineering allowed him to integrate machine learning and algorithms, enabling OmniView to analyze vast amounts of data in unprecedented ways.
Building A Strong Team
Matt brought on board Rahnuma Sharib, a talented frontend developer with years of experience working alongside him. Together, they transformed OmniView from a concept into a sophisticated product poised to transform the landscape of conveyor chain maintenance management forever. As Matt pointed out, this project has developed into something far more significant than we initially anticipated, and it is certain to transform everything.
